Leprino Foods’ history dates to over 65 years ago, when the Leprino family first started making small batches of mozzarella for local markets and eateries in Denver. We’ve grown a bit since then. For our 300-employee Tracy, CA cheese and dairy nutrition manufacturing facility (union) we are seeking a Maintenance Manager who will help us continue our successful trend in the global cheese and nutrition markets through quality of product and food safety.


We Ask of You To: 

  • Provide leadership in the Maintenance Department by implementing and maintaining programs in technical training, safety, quality, communications, performance recognition and internal employee development in order to ensure peak employee productivity.
  • Outline and manage the work of the Maintenance Supervisors in the department.
  • Actively lead the processes for performance management, employee development and engagement.
  • Manage the maintenance process to assure maximum equipment uptime to meet company and customer specifications and government regulations.
  • Maintain high productivity and cost effectiveness through proper scheduling of maintenance operations and workforce.
  • Manages the Maintenance Department budget within established guidelines ensuring financial objectives are met.

We Hope You Have (Minimum Qualifications):


  • Requires college degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of equipment theory and history, electrical operations, advanced process controls, power generation, hydraulics refrigeration, pneumatics, thermodynamics, welding, machining, food processing and sanitation, maintenance scheduling
  • Minimum 6 years of overall experience in manufacturing, preferably cheese and/or food.
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive leadership experience
