    Within our Denver, CO corporate headquarters we are seeking an Senior Accountant, Production to continue moving our organization to even larger levels within the global cheese and dairy nutrition marketplace.     Responsibilities

    • Executes Production Accounting procedures with continuous improvement in mind to maximize efficiencies (increase accuracy, reduce redundancy, reduce cost, etc.)
    • Review reports and provide additional insight on yield and efficiency summary, milk/labor/overhead variances, milk settlement and inventory.
    • Lead milk invoice and settlement process for assigned plants ensuring payments are made accurately, timely and in accordance with long-term milk supply contracts.
    • Review, understand and communicate variance to budget models prepared relating to the explanation of plant financial statements.
    • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations in accordance to policy, reconciling all variances.
    • Support and collaborate with Plant Controller and Plant Accounting Supervisors. Add value by developing an in-depth understanding of plant operations and key financial drivers.

    Qualifications

    You Have (Mandatory Qualifications):

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
    • At least four years of progressive accounting or finance experience.

    We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

    • SAP experience.

    • Manufacturing experience.
