    Within our 600-person Roswell manufacturing facility, we are seeking as Controls System Technician to help us achieve the growth needed to continue moving our organization to even larger levels!


    The position’s primary focus will be on improved plant controls system reliability with specific focus on controls training for maintenance, controls/field device upgrades, ISS support, operator training on new controls installs, and capital project support from design through start-up. The incumbent will demonstrate ownership of all plant processes/equipment and continuously strive to improve reliability while lowering costs.

    The incumbent must be able to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems by utilizing mechanical/electrical drawings, PLC code, and operational manuals.  This person must be capable of reading, interpreting, and using ladder logic to troubleshoot plant systems.  This position must understand and be capable of troubleshooting various types of instrumentation that include but are not limited to: flow meters, pressure transducers, RTDs, and chart recorders.   This person must understand and be able to troubleshoot digital, analog and other communication signals. This position requires the ability to walk and climb stairs, assemble and disassemble equipment and operate all electrical analysis meters effectively.  This person must be willing to take input from other departments and be capable of prioritizing work load to complete tasks efficiently.  This person must be willing to participate in the Controls On-Call Program and the Plant Weekend coverage.


    We Ask Of You To:

    • Maintain, repair, troubleshoot and PM all controls related equipment to maintain facility operation and increase equipment reliability.
    • Tasks will include but not be limited to: PLC programming, HMI programming, field device troubleshooting, PLC hardware troubleshooting, Wonderware PC and Thin client work station set-up/deployment, and download/upload of PLC & Panel view programs.
    • Provide support and lead as necessary on controls projects to include minor design, implementation and start-up.
    • Provide controls training to maintenance technicians to achieve advancement through the Pay-For-Skills program.
    • Scope material needs for assigned work orders and estimate labor and support needed to complete work orders.
    • Execute assigned work and complete within planned time frame
    • Maintain close communication with maintenance planner and forepersons/supervisors.
    • Must demonstrate, be able to perform and continue personnel/technical skill development
    • Monitor all company policies and insure compliance is achieved. This shall include but no be limited to GMP’s, Leprino Quality, and Safety.

    You Have (Minimum Qualifications):

    • 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance (Controls experience a must) or a Degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Controls Technology

    We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

    • Hands-on experience utilizing a computerized maintenance management system.
    • Demonstrate functional aptitude at Mechanic 1 level.
