    Within our 600-person Roswell, NM manufacturing facility, we are seeking a highly qualified Waste Water Supervisor within our plant Maintenance team to continue moving our organization to even larger levels of food quality, safety, and production efficiencies.     We Ask Of You To:

      • Plan and schedule daily staffing needs to maximize labor efficiency and ensure waste stream efficiencies and compliance.
      • Lead and coach team employees by implementing programs in technical training, safety, quality, communications, performance recognition and internal employee development in order to ensure peak employee engagement and productivity.
      • Build and foster strong working relationships, collaboration within their team and a positive work environment.
      • Reinforce company and plant policies fairly and consistently.
      • Ensure team employees have completed all required training.
      • Execute governmental regulatory compliance, including reporting requirements.
      • Supervise the daily shift activities to ensure minimal production downtime related to waste streams, work orders, and planned maintenance.
      • Achieves scheduled work orders.
      • Prioritizes waste treatment repair and maintenance needs to minimize production downtime, while assuring safety and quality.
      • Monitors team operations and makes recommendations for labor and manufacturing efficiency, cost savings, and equipment uptime improvements
      • Recommends areas for wastewater efficiencies and executes the assigned waste reduction projects.
      • Executing to the Wastewater treatment financial performance goals to assure that a quality product is provided at the least possible cost.
      • Implements plant safety programs to ensure compliance and a safe working environment.
      • Ensures work is accomplished in a safe manner and the workplace is free of safety hazards.
      • Provides employees with the training, equipment, and tools to be able to safely perform their jobs.
      • Leads and demonstrates safe practices.
    • Participates in safety investigations and corrective actions
    • Leads and executes the department’s quality systems to achieve quality goals.

    You Have (Minimum Qualifications):

    • High School or GED or equivalent experience.
    • At least 5 years of related industrial wastewater treatment experience, manufacturing operation preferred.
    • Minimum certifications required by regulatory agencies. 
    • Additional education may substitute for experience, as applicable.
    • At least 1 year of progressive leadership experience..

    We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

    • Technical knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment systems and related governmental regulations and reporting requirements.
    • Working knowledge of biological/chemical waste treatment and related equipment, laboratory testing of process ad compliance samples, process inspections, and basic equipment maintenance.
    • Mechanical aptitude.
    • Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Effective people management skills.
