For our Denver corporate headquarters, we are seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst. The Senior Procurement Analyst serves as the liaison between Leprino’s facilities and Leprino’s suppliers of corporately controlled packaging and ingredients.  Responsibilities will include the management of supplier’s inventories of packaging and ingredients against agreed upon minimum/maximum levels to ensure supply to support Leprino’s production needs.  Additionally, this position will aid and assist the plants in resolution of supplier service and quality related issues. The Senior Procurement Analyst will lead the process of monitoring and evaluating supplier performance through administering the Supplier Scorecard Program in support of Leprino’s Supplier Relationship Management Program.


We Ask Of You To:

 Material Requirements / Inventory Planning

  • Establishes and manages supplier inventory levels of corporately controlled ingredients and packaging based upon Leprino facility inventories, forecasted demand, supplier lead time, and Leprino production volatility.
  • Supports utilization and rationalization of aged or obsolete inventory of ingredients and packaging to ensure timely consumption and minimize inventory write-offs.
  • Acts as escalation point for urgent plant-related procurement matters.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for savings by analyzing ordering patterns, freight spend, and other procurement activities.
  • Coordinates all activities with vendors/suppliers and plant procurement contacts to facilitate cost-savings initiatives.
  • Coordinates the expediting of packaging and ingredients in support of Leprino production operations.

Contract/Systems Maintenance

  • Proactively maintains procurement-related data tables in SAP.
  • Follows up with suppliers and vendors as required to maintain data tables.
  • Creates and issues Change Orders to commercial contracts for pricing adjustments.
  • Performs contract pricing maintenance in SAP for ingredients, packaging, and sanitation materials which are corporately controlled.
  • Reconciles discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders.

Supplier Performance Monitoring

  • Evaluates supplier performance using the Leprino Supplier Scorecard Program.
  • Ensures supplier and Leprino plant compliance regarding our Corrective Action Response program.
  • Supports Leprino facilities in the resolution of supplier complaints related to quality and/or service.

Material Qualification

  • Ensures supplier compliance with Leprino’s requirements for   documentation, which is required for the approval of new suppliers/materials.
  • Manages supplier use of Trace Gains, Leprino’s quality document management system.
  • Leads on-boarding process for new suppliers and materials.

Team Support

  • Assumes at times responsibilities of the Procurement Manager and Purchasing Assistant when required by work schedules.

You Have (Mandatory Qualifications):

  • 5+ years relevant experience with Bachelor’s or 3+ years relevant experience with Master’s degree
  • 5 years supply chain or procurement professional experience in a manufacturing environment


We Hope You Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Food manufacturing experience
  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management


At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $ 77,025.00 and $ 90,500.00.
