The Maintenance Manager manages the maintenance function for the plant to assure adequate cost effective utilities and power are provided along with the quality and quantity of maintenance support required to meet production needs. This position prepares and monitors the department budget, directs the purchasing of spare parts and determines minimum inventory levels, initiates work orders, and reviews general plant equipment repairs.  Participates in capital projects by aiding in the development of project scope, specifying controls and equipment to be used, directing installation efforts, and monitoring start-up, troubleshooting and maintenance training of new systems. The Solution Architect, Systems & Storage will be responsible as the primary architect for the in-house Wintel & Linux systems, along with storage environments and to ensure the stability, integrity and performance of said systems and services. The incumbent must exhibit advanced knowledge in a variety of the systems & storage field's concepts, practices, and technologies, and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  The Solution Architect will manage the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support and optimization of all systems and storage related hardware, software, and interrelated systems. This individual will also analyze and resolve systems, storage hardware and software incidents and problems in a timely and accurate manner and provide end user training where required.  Additional responsibilities will include managing supplier partners, participating/leading projects and small enhancement teams, working closely with business and application representatives throughout all phases of implementations, and driving resolution of support issues.   We Ask You to: Projects - The incumbent will be required to manage projects that involve major systems replacement, service expansion, analysis, design, vendor interaction, implementation, training, and follow up as assigned by the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Systems and Storage. The Power Maintenance Technician requires responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of all utility equipment, to include boil­ers and refrigeration equipment.  The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. No employees report to the position. The Power Maintenance Technician will perform and document all tests, maintain logs and understand/adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). The position is responsible for all plant utilities including, but not limited to, refrigeration, boilers, air compressors, HVAC, water systems, chemical treatment systems, plumbing, electrical, and wastewater support.   Power Maintenance Technicians often work alone, and must exercise considerable judgment and problem-solving skills to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment. Work is normally done in high noise areas and in extreme temperature changes. Attention must be paid to operating safely with hazardous chemicals and wearing personal protective equipment as required. Tasks often require sections of various systems be taken off line for maintenance or repair, and it is the responsibility of the Power Maintenance Technician to effectively communicate with supervisors, other technicians, and the departments affected when work is being performed.

The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Foreperson must be able to demonstrate effective leadership abilities such as, problem solving skills, effective communication, good manufacturing practices and the ability to learn and train others in a technical skill arena.
